VAYOTZ RED BROWN

Rich warm reddish-brown pigment composed of silica, iron, aluminum, trace minerals mined in Vayotz Dzor, Armenia. Good color, mixes well with other pigments and mediums, needs long grinding for oil paints. Semi-transparent, low flocculation, good lightfastness and coverage, stains well. Similar to Armenian bole, Crimson Light, Terra Cotta, Van Dyke Brown.
