This is the natural, genuine, Nicosia green earth from Cyprus, aka Terre Verte.

Likely to be suitable for Acrylics, Lime/Fresco, Ceramic, Oil, Tempera, Watercolor/Gouache, Pastel.  We have not tested all of these mediums.

Lightfastness: very lightfast, semi-transparent.  PG 23

Chemical description: Glauconite; hydrated iron potassium silicate with trace minerals.

General protective measures:  Always wear a dust mask, gloves, apron and eye protection.  Keep away from foodstuffs and drinks. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not allow children or pets to contact these art materials.
